The complex was established to honor the historic Great Khuruldai of 1206, when Genghis Khan united the nomadic tribes under a single state and proclaimed the establishment of the Great Mongol Empire. This historic assembly not only transformed the destiny of the Mongolian people but also reshaped the course of world history through the rise of one of the largest empires ever created.
Historical research has identified the site of the Great Khuruldai near Tsagaan Lake, south of present-day Binder Soum, close to the headwaters of the Onon River. The Great Khuruldai Palace Complex has been designed across an area of 25 hectares at the confluence of the Onon and Khurkh Rivers, blending harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. Its architectural design evokes the grandeur of an ancient fortified city while preserving the area's natural beauty and geographical character.

1206 онд Их Эзэн богд Чингис хаан эсгий туургатныг нэгэн төрийн дор хурааж, Онон мөрний тэргүүнээ Их хуралдай хийж, Их Монгол Улсыг байгуулсан түүхтэй. Энэ бол нийт Монгол туургатан төдийгүй дэлхий нийтийн хувь заяаг өөрчилсөн Монголын Эзэнт Гүрний тулгын чулууг тавьсан чухал үйл явдал байв. Онон мөрний эхэнд хурсан тэрхүү түүхт Их хуралдай болсон газар орон нь өнөөгийн Хэнтий аймгийн Биндэр сумын төвийн өмнө байх Цагаан нуурын ойролцоо болохыг түүхчид тогтоосон билээ. Монгол төрийн “Их Хуралдай” орд өргөөг Онон Хурхын бэлчирт 25 га газрыг хамран эртний нэгэн сүрлэг хот мэт харагдахаар байгаль орчны унаган төрх байдлыг тодотгон газар зүйн онцлогт зохицуулан зохиомжилсон байна.

Гэрэл зураг: Ордны гаднах сүрлэг багана, архитектурыг Онон голын байгальтай хамт багтааж авах нь хамгийн гоё харагддаг. Мөн ордны доторх түүхэн үзмэрүүдийг үзэхдээ гэрэл зураг авах горимыг асууж сураарай.
Түүхэн маршрут: Биндэр суманд ирсэн бол Биндэр овоо, Рашаан хад, Өглөгчийн хэрэм зэрэг газруудыг үзэх маршрутад "Их Хуралдай" цогцолборыг заавал оруулах хэрэгтэй.
Хэзээ очих вэ: 6-р сараас 9-р сарын хооронд цаг агаар хамгийн таатай, байгаль ногоон байдаг. Наадмын үеэр энд түүхэн үзүүлбэр, арга хэмжээнүүд зохиогддог.
